Four men were captured on security footage approaching a 25-year-old man from behind around 8pm on January 10.
One of the suspects then punches the man in the back of the head, sending him to the ground.
The other three suspects started to kick and punch the victim, who has not been identified, several times.
During the attack the suspects made several attempts to take the victim’s cellular phone but were unsuccessful.
The four suspects then fled in an unknown direction, according to police.
The incident took place in the 1200 block of South Broad Street.
Police have urged the public to report an information that may lead to an arrest in the case.
They have also warned residents to not approach the young men and instead, people should contact 911 immediately.
