Jackson, MS- JPD says the man, they believe shot three people Saturday morning, is in police custody.
Officials say two unnamed women and one man was shot. We’re told the women were taken to UMMC and the man drove himself to the hospital.
The incident happened just before 11 a.m.
Police were looking for 26-year-old Curtis Blanden, who was last seen in a gold Chevy Malibu, with Holmes County license plates.
The victims were shot at Magic City Nail Shop in Westland Plaza, located near the intersection of Robinson Road and Ellis Avenue.
Officials say Blanden turned himself in to authorities.
“At least two of these individuals are in stable condition. I can not advise on the condition of one of the ladies at this time,” said JPD Commander Tyree Jones.
We’re told the shooting was an isolated incident.
Officials say Blanden will be charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
