A driver who led police on an hour-long chase through three Southern California counties was dramatically pulled from a highway overpass and pushed to the ground by police on Monday (September 26).
The driver of a stolen Toyota Camry exited the vehicle carrying an object believed to be a windshield wiper blade, and walked across a highway and approached the ledge of an overpass as police approached with a dog.
The standoff ended when an officer distracted the suspect while another quickly rushed in to grab him from the ledge of the overpass.
Several officers then assisted in subduing the man who was then taken into custody.
